    I am also doing Sadhguru's inner engineering and I'm at day 30. I am a tall male 76 years old. When I sit for butterfly, my legs are 45° off the floor and I have similar restriction doing Rock the Baby. These do not appear to have changed during the 30 days. I will continue practice but there may be something that I am missing.

    Hi mam.. I started chanting aum for the past 1 week.. I feel relaxed after every aum.. But later on I feel my body is heated up like I got heat bump in my mouth region and I got severe stomach pain in middle of the night.. May I take it as a sign as my body is releasing emotion or something is wrong? Please do reply mam

      Typically you should not practice chandrabhedi pranayama on regular basis. It is only if needed. Similarly suryabhedi should not be done regularly during summer times.

      If you are not able to move belly along with the breath, keep your focus on the belly. Once you master those muscles then stay with your breath.

      Willpower is needed during this time. Even for chanting you will need willpower. Chanting AUM will help you to calm your mind. It will help you understand that thinking about the things that you have no control over is not really going to solve the problem. But it will definitely mess up with YOUR peace of mind. Now, you decide if you want to keep the key of your happiness in someone else's pocket or yours?

      Bhastrika, ujjayi and anulom vilom. If you experience tiredness in between the practice, please stop take rest and then start again. Do not continue with uneasy breath.

      Usually Kapalbhati is the one that can sometimes exaggerate lower back pain during periods. You can either avoid or do it on a slower pace.

      Along with asana reduce belly fat also need healthy lifestyle (eating dinner early, walking after dinner etc), healthy eating habits (no junk food, no snacking in between meals, etc). You can do legs strengthening poses for lower body like warrior pose 1 & 2, triangle pose, skandasana, utkatasana, and parsvakonasana. For belly fat you can do, naukasana, ardhmatsyendrasana, adhomukhsvanasana, phalakasana, and padhastasana.
